IACR and ESGO

CLuB researchers and investigators were present IACR and ESGO.

Congratulations to CLuB Co-Investigator Prof. John O'Leary for being awarded the Irish Association for Cancer Research (IACR) Outstanding Contribution to Cancer Medicine & Research Award, which recognises researchers who have made significant impacts in basic or clinical oncology on the island of Ireland. John gave a talk at IACR on "What's past is prologue".

CLuB PhD Candidate Volga Saini presented a poster on Evaluation and characterisation of circulating tumour cells and mesenchymal cells in longitudinal blood samples from patients with resectable lung cancer. 

CLuB co-lead Dr Paul Mullan worked with Devesh Haseja and Micheál Ó Dálaigh from University of Galway on a poster on fragmentomics that was presented at IACR.

CLuB Co-Investigator Dr Sharon O’Toole attended the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology ESGO2026 and presented a poster on Ovarian Cancer CTCs including work by CLuB researchers Brian Henderson, Lauren McMahon, Mark Ward and Faye Lewis.
