CLuB Researcher receives CREST award

Congratulations to CLuB Postdoctoral researcher Seán Patmore for receiving a €12,000 CREST Research Award from TSJCI. The Fadhil Laabei Cancer Research (CREST) Award was established in memory of Dr Fadhil Laabei who passed in 2023. The award is dedicated to advancing research in Small Cell Lung Cancer (SCLC).

Seán’s project on SCLC “EV-peasy SCLC biomarker detection: A proteomic exploration of pleural-fluid Evs” is in collaboration with a Consultant Physician, Laura Gleeson, in SJH.
